My name is Roch Belley.  I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and grew up in Gatineau, Quebec.  I have been skating since the age of 4.  As soon as I was introduced to the net, I knew the rest of my hockey career would be spent between the pipes.  I played my entire minor hockey career in Gatineau before moving on to play for the Gloucester Rangers in the Jr A league and then got drafted by the Niagara Falls Thunder in the Ontario Hockey League.  In 1991, I was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks, where I played for 3 years in their minor league organization.  My professional career quickly ended due to a leg injury.  After a few years, I finally got back in the net with different local men`s leagues where I have been playing on and off since.
After recovering from my leg injury in 1994, a partner and I decided to open a goalie camp in Ottawa, Canada.  It was an immediate success and yielded many champion goalies.

Far too often, goaltenders have mechanical skills but do not have the proper resources available to help them apply these skills in game situations.  With the depth of my knowledge that comes from 20+ years of experience, NCYH Goalie Development will give goalies an opportunity to grow and learn.

My vision for NCYH Goalie Development is to teach goaltenders at any age or level to love and enjoy the wonderful game of hockey while building self-confidence.
